Ringgold is an unincorporated community in McPherson County, Nebraska, United States. Its elevation is 3,176&nbspfeet (968 m), and it is located at 41°30′31″N, 100°47′30″W (41.5086062, -100.7915390).[1] A post office was operated in Ringgold for over sixty years, opening on 1 December 1906 and closing on 11 August 1967.[2]

Ringgold is part of the North Platte, Nebraska Micropolitan Statistical Area.

Ringgold was also formerly home to a Kindergarten through 8th grade school, District #59, which was closed by the Nebraska Department of Education in 2004 due to a lack of students attending in this rural area.[citation needed]
