[edit] Don't copy text!

Hi, Rimmer. I see you've been creating some stubs for Tom Holt novels. That's great, but the summaries you've been providing are very obviously cut-and-pasted from somewhere, and that's a serious no-no on Wikipedia. I've replaced a bunch of the text, and my summaries aren't very good (yet), but they're better than something that's an obvious copyright violation. A bunch of the articles recently got tagged as being advertisements (not far from the truth, really), and nominated for deletion, which is why I felt compelled to go in and rewrite. It's almost better to not make an article than to make one that will just be quickly deleted. And repeatedly copying from other sites to Wikipedia can get you in trouble. Just so you know. In the mean time, I'll see what I can do to improve the Holt articles, but I'm not sure how much time I'll have to spend on it. cheers, Xtifr tälk 06:26, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Here Comes the Sun (novel)

I have nominated Here Comes the Sun (novel), an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Here Comes the Sun (novel). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
