Rilkean

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Used to describe something that refers, pertains or relates to the ideas, writings, history, characteristics or other attributes of the German poet Rainer Maria Rilke (4 December 187529 December 1926).

The term "Rilkean" was also used in the song, "Rilkean Heart" by the Cocteau Twins, featured on their full-length album, "Milk and Kisses," released in 1996. The lyrics of the song "Rilkean Heart" exhibit the introspective solitude and depth that is also exhibited by much of Rilke's poetry.
