Coin Rugby Championship, also known as Penny Rugby, Table Top Rugby and Coin Rugby, is a championship dating back to 2005 where it was founded in a local school, Epping Boys High School, and since the first success of the Coin Rugby Championship, it has steadly grown to it third championship.

Championships of this event have been held since 2005 where the first winner Aaron Fazzolari was crowned, the following year in 2006 Alex Righton was crowned champion of Coin Rugby and as another year passed the 2007 championship is underway and competitors play for the championship. The coin cup, otherwise a $1 AUD coin, is extremely prestigiace to coin rugby players and it is what they recieve for winning the Rugby Coin Championship.

The Coin Rugby Championship is located at the International Coin Rugby Stadium (ICRS) which holds 30 spectators 2 players coaches, officals, judicators, and a teacher. This stadium is situated at the campus of Epping Boys High School (EBHS).

  • Each game played with a different coin (bigger than a 20c piece)
  • Played on approved table
