There were several amendments discussed and only one of them was aimed at actual resticting the abortion rights. All the other amendments were intended to retain the status quo (so that it would not possible to make the law more liberal without changing the constitution). That's way it is more accurate to write "protecting the prenatal life" than "restricting the abortion rights". The intention was to protect the prenatal life by constitutional regulations and not necessarily change the current law. --BotevFixer 02:06, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
