Rifaat Turk (Arabic: رفعت ترك, Hebrew: רפעת טורק) is the deputy mayor of Tel Aviv in Israel. As a former football player, he was the first Arab to ever play for the Israel national football team.

The son of a Jaffa fisherman, Turk, did not go to school very often and would hang out with friends by the Jaffa port. One day he was spotted by a scout of Hapoel Tel Aviv. This would change his life forever.[1].

Turk is very big on the social problems that Jaffa youth are confronted with. He is a member of the Meretz party and has a son in the Hapoel Tel Aviv's youth system.[2]
