[edit] Thing article
Well, to be quite honest, I don't exactly know the entire reason why the OHOTMU can't be used as a reference. It's got something to do with copyright violations, or so I've been told. I tried my best to get them to use OHOTMU stats in the articles. However, it's Wikipedia policy not to reference the OHOTMU, which means that the facts in the article have to be backed up by other Marvel publications, namely comics, that are part of the maintream Marvel continuity. Also, don't remove citations from an article unless you have a legitimate source. Otherwise, it's considered to be vandalism. Odin's Beard 00:35, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
I agree, there should be references to back up all the info in the articles. However, removing citations from any part of an article is considered vandalism if a reference is provided that backs up the info regardless if the info in the article is common sense according to Wikipedia policy. I'm not really all that knowledgable about the Thing. What I know about the character is your basic info such as what his powers are, that he's a member of the FF, etc. I'm not really a fan of the character, but the point is to be able to back up info that's given in the articles. A LOT of articles need some legitimate sources to back up their information. Odin's Beard 00:10, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
