[edit] re Cutenews

OK, I've restored the article per your request. I don't, however, think it meets our notability standards for WP:SOFTWARE. I'm sending it to WP:AFD where the community may discuss it for a week and decide whether it should be deleted or not. You are welcome to participate in this discussion. I don't know about Wordpress or Joomla, but I'll take a look at them, perhaps they also do not meet our standards and may be deleted. Herostratus 16:56, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

  • If it makes you feel any better, I have also nominated WordPress for deletion. Joomla, however, appears to have significant third-party mention, therefore does not fail WP:SOFTWARE. Also -- do not be discouraged if Cutenews is deleted. Many of us have had articles deleted, especially in the early going. Looking forward to your future contributions, cheers, Herostratus 17:22, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Cutenews-banner.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:Cutenews-banner.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Coredesat 03:53, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Screenshot_cutenews.png

I have tagged Image:Screenshot_cutenews.png as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Wikipedia, it must be included in at least one article. If this image is being used as a link target instead of displayed inline, please add {{not orphan}} to the image description page to prevent it being accidentally marked as orphaned again.
