Power Team USA disbanded in 1986, and two of the members, Borden and Jim "Justice" Hellwig (later The Ultimate Warrior), formed a tag team known as the Blade Runners.[1][2] Borden changed his name initially from Flash to Sting while Hellwig became Rock.[1] The Blade Runners wrestled in the Universal Wrestling Federation based in Shreveport, Louisiana until Rock left the promotion in mid-1986. Left without a partner, Borden joined Hotstuff and Hyatt International, a stable headed by Eddie Gilbert and Missy Hyatt. He won the UWF Tag Team Championship twice with Gilbert in 1986, and a third time with Rick Steiner in 1987.[1] Initially a heel wrestler, Sting turned babyface following a match against Terry Taylor in mid-1987, where former manager Gilbert interfered on Taylor's behalf, costing Sting the match. Following a two-on-one gangup, Gentleman Chris Adams cleared the ring and became instrumental in Sting's face turn when Adams asked if Sting was with him or against him in his feud with Taylor and Gilbert.
Later that year, Sting was tabbed to win Gilbert's UWF Television title until Jim Crockett bought the company from Bill Watts. Booker Dusty Rhodes decided to put the belt on Terry Taylor to set up a feud with Nikita Koloff to unify the NWA and UWF Television titles. The decision was made to use unknown Shane Douglas as the transitional champion by Rhodes, who did not want to diminish Sting's growing stardom with a brief title run. Rhodes decided to use the opening bout of Jim Crocket's first foray into pay-per-view, Starrcade '87 to showcase the young superstar, partnering Sting with Michael P.S. Hayes and Jimmy Garvin in a time-limit draw battle against Eddie Gilbert, Rick Steiner, and Larry Zbyszko.
In 2000, Rick Derringer tryed to stop a fight between ECW and XPW. Rob Black purchased six front row tickets for ECW's annual summer pay-per-view, HeatWave. The tickets for the show were given to a cadre of XPW talent, as their mission was to make it clear that ECW was on enemy's turf. At the beginning of the main event, the XPW contingent donned shirts emblazoned with the logo of their home company, gaining the attention of security and Tommy Dreamer. Security ejected the XPW group. A brawl in the parking lot then broke out between the XPW ring crew and the ECW locker room, but the XPW wrestlers were not involved. In the parking lot, several of the ECW wrestlers brutalized the XPW ring crew in a street fight until several of the ring crew members were left in pools of their own blood.[1]. Initial reports claimed that Kristi Myst somehow touched Francine and that prompted the incident, but Francine herself has since gone on record as saying that she was never grabbed or in any other way touched by any of the XPW crew, and other eye witnesses support the story that Francine never had a hand laid on her. XPW was not acknowledged on the telecast, and the XPW contingent consisted of The Messiah, Kid Kaos, Supreme, Kristi Myst, Homeless Jimmy and Kris Kloss. He than was discusted by there actions a left the arena never going back to XPW
He then signed a T.V and wrestling contract with WWA. He is scedualed to be on air December 12 2007
