Talk:Rick Jeanneret
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Is there anything wrong with listing RJ calls? It's all entirely factual. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.77.245.238 (talk) 23:55, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, because Wikipedia is not a repository of lists, quotes, or other indiscriminate information. Wikiquote would be an appropriate place. Croctotheface 02:20, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

- True, but these hold more importance for RJ than other people. I mean, someone who is known for something famous may have quotes, but his calls are really what make RJ be himself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.77.245.238 (talk) 05:31, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

- I understand your opinion. However, Wikipedia is still not a repository of links, quotes, or anything else. The content is not appropriate for an encyclopedia. See WP:NOT and other similar policies and guidelines. Wikiquote would be more than happy to have the content. Wikipedia is not the place for it. Croctotheface 06:43, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

- I have removed the sentence "Some Buffalo Sabres fans claim that Rick is such a good play-by-play man that he could make up his own play-by-play about him eating cereal in the morning for breakfast." This sentence is definitely inappropriate for a wikipedia article. 23:57 October 20, 2007. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.50.137.49 (talk) 03:58, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
