Anyone who invented the gatling gun is fine by me. How can you call the man who radically changed the way wars are fought be boring?

What is his degree in - is he an MD, ph.d, or something else?

I've changed the text to read "Modern versions of these were put into use on flying gun platforms in the later half of the 1990s" as I think that this is what was meant.
