[edit] Contradictory

The article states that Ieyoub's a liberal Democrat, then mentions that he's often mentioned as a possible party switcher. Huh? One 06:37, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

I don't know that Ieyoub would be considered liberal, although some of his supporters were. Louisiana is a conservative state, but for years we had almost no republican candidates or elected officials. It is common for people in Louisiana to change parties to obtain funding or to ally themselves with someone in another party. Many voters in Louisiana ignore party affiliation when it comes to state elections. Cremice 00:14, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
