[edit] POV, accuracy?

This article has many problems with its tone and does not cite its sources. There are many uncited statements, like his magic tricks never bring discovered, his "good looks", his working as a "counselor to many famous people" and lots of other things. Overall, this needs to be rewritten to show this guy's importance and a neutral point of view. I'll see if I can help. Grandmasterka 21:19, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

Rewrote to remove POV. He's notable because he was taken pretty seriously by french Haute Société for a time. He has, IIRC, been thoroughly debunked. This fact still needs more attention in the article. --Storkk 10:20, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
