Rather too much of this is cut and paste, arguably CopyVio, from the Scottish National Opera page. This seems to call for action. (And I'd like to see a good page on this conductor, who's also premiered works by Vagn Holmboe and Havergal Brian (symphony no. 12 and the opera Agamemnon respectively, as I recall?)
