Richmond is a suburb of Adelaide, in the City of West Torrens.
Richmond has a population of approximately 7,000 people. It is bordered by Hilton, Cowandilla, West Richmond, Marleston & Mile End South.
It was named after the first farm that was establised in the area in 1939, owned by Charles Gooch. A subdivision on 1842 of the surrounding area was called "The Village of Richmond".
