Richie Carter was a fictional character in ITV's Emmerdale. He was played by Glenn Lamont from 1999-2001. He was most famous for his affair with Sarah Sugden. He reappeared in the 35th Anniversary episode on 16 October 2007, where a drunken Victoria grilled him about Sarah's death.
