Richard Sandler (b. August 26, 1949, New York) played college football at Princeton before being drafted by the New York Giants. After an injury at the beginning of his career he decided to pursue a law degree at Harvard. He is currently a partner at Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York City, where he resides with his wife and four children.
