Richard Rich (Sheriff of London)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Richard Rich (d. 1464) was a mercer in London, who was sheriff of that city in 1441.
His will, proved in 1464, shows that he died possessed of large estates in Middlesex and Hertfordshire, and was opulent enough to found five alms-houses at Broxbourne.
Rich was buried in St. Lawrence Jewry Parish, London, Middlesex, England.
