Richard Porta was (born August 1, 1985 in Fairfield, New South Wales, Australia), is a Uruguayan-Australian footballer. He plays for A.C. Siena.

In 2007 Apertura season, he scored 19 goals along with Christian Stuani who played for Danubio, to win the top-scorer award. Both player was signed by Italian club in January 2008, but Porta for A.C. Siena, signed a 5-year deal.[1]
He was involved in one match for Siena during the 2007/08 season, as a second-half substitute in the Reggina vs Siena match. The match finished 4-0 to Reggina.

Despite not having been to Australia since the age of one, Porta stated in an interview on the 20 December 2007, that he would not rule out representing the green and gold and if approached would have to seriously consider it.
He attended two training camps with the Uruguayan national team during 2007 and was previously considered for Under 17 Australian representation, however has not been capped by either country's senior national team.
Although he does not speak English, Porta's maternal grandparents and a few cousins live in Sydney, Australia.[citation needed]
