Richard G. Compton

Richard Compton is a physical chemist working at the Physical and Theoretical Chemistry Laboratory at Oxford University in England. He is Physical Chemistry editor of the Oxford University Press' Chemistry Primers series, which has over a hundred titles to date (2006). Professor Compton's research is primarily in the field of Electrochemistry.

Professor Compton is a fellow at St John's College, Oxford where he tutors undergraduates as well as his role of tutor responsible for graduates.
