Richard Cardinal (born 1927) is an American professional wrestler who used the ring name "Dick Cardinal".
[edit] Early life
Born 1927, in Everett, Washington, Cardinal began an amateur wrestling career at the age of 10, when he was scouted outside a gym where a local meet was being held, and they required a spot to be filled in.
[edit] Career
Richard Cardinal is currently one of the last few Catch wrestling "hookers" (top ranking experts) alive who contested in competitive Catch matches, and fought in Athletic Shows, matches held by circuses which pit their troupe against all comers from a locale.
He competed in the National Wrestling Alliance, Don Owen's Pacific Northwest Championship Wrestling, and Al Tomko's All Star Wrestling.
