Rhys Day (born 31 August 1982 in Bridgend) is a Welsh footballer who plays for Nationwide Conference side Aldershot Town. Day is a tall and strong central defender, who was once regarded as one of the most talented defenders in the lower leagues of English football. He has been capped several times at Under-21 level by Wales.

Day began his career at Manchester City, but never broke through to City's first-team. He joined Mansfield Town in November 2002, initially on loan, and the move was made permanent in January 2003. His excellent play for the Stags in 2003-04 got him noticed by other clubs, and he reportedly almost joined Hartlepool in the summer of 2004, but eventually decided to stay at Mansfield.

A knee injury kept Day out of action for more than four months in 2004-05, and he also missed large portions of the 2005-06 season with various injuries. Mansfield did not offer Day a new contract at the end of the season, making him a free agent. He signed a two-year contract with Aldershot in July 2006 and was named as captain by new manager Gary Waddock for the 2007-08 campaign.

Rhys Day is the brother of snooker player Ryan Day.
