Many people get confused because both the island and the capital city of the island share the same name. This page is exclusively for the city of Rhodes and not for the whole island. A good example is Palma, the capital of Mallorca, and the island of Mallorca that have different pages.

If that is so, the title of this page should be changed to Rhodes Town. The pictures and text are very similar on both pages - so you are not helping, but adding to the fact that "many people get confused."--Gilabrand 21:07, 26 June 2007 (UTC

Altough not responsible for what is written in the whole wiki project i respect your opinion and will try to short out the supposed conflict. Note that as the city was and is the island's centre some historical aspects refer to both. Thanks for advising.
