Rhoda is a female given name, originated from both Greek and Latin. Its meaning is "rose; from Rhodes". Rhodes is a Greek island originally named for its roses. In Biblical, a servant girl who was one of the early Christian disciples. The name is mostly used in the 18th and 19th centuries.
