Talk:Rhinox
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sorry to just tag a cleanup on this, but I just don't have the enthusiasm. Is this a TV show? When did it run? Who created it? What are these creatures? Is there a picture?
- Beast Wars and Beast Machines were animated television series from the mid 1990's. They were direct sequals to the 1980's US Transformers television series. Beasides entries for the shows themselves, people have started pages for all the major character who appeared in the series. User:Mathewignash Apr-10-2006
As the Beast Machines series went on, it was revealed at some point, the Tankorr personality disappeared and the Rhinox personality took over and put up the facade of being Tankorr to Megatron while he went on scheming his own plans. At least after the "Revelations" 3-part story in the series, Rhinox was in control of Tankorr's body. Rhinox/Tankorr, it was revealed, had defected, and supported Megatron's goal and ideology, only HE wanted to be the one in charge, so he schemed against Megatron and even programmed Megatron's Diagnostic Drone, the British butler-esque floating orb that was always at Megatron's side, to work against Megatron covertly.

[edit] Animated Gifs
I really do not see the animated gifs in this and any Transformers: Beast Wars/Machines article to be of any encyclopedic merit. They are often very long loading and of low quality. Ryulong 16:00, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Season 1 way too descriptive
The season 1 write-up is way too detailed for this entry, giving extensive plot summaries for episodes in which Rhinox only had tangential participation. And by giving others episode in which he was the key character only a sentence, it just makes the whole thing look unbalanced.
If the episode summaries don't exist on some main Beast Wars page, they should be moved there, or else axed. The plot points of Rhinox's story in the Beast Wars series can be told in a few paragraphs.

- Strongly agree. The section is utterly enormous, and far too much continuous text to read. The one before it is fairly long as well, but not nearly to the same extent. This needs to be fixed, post haste. Aluvus 17:04, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Warhammer
Warhammer also has Rhinox ridden by Bull Ogres. [1] Mathmo 03:54, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Autobot logo s.jpg
Image:Autobot logo s.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:00, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
