[edit] Speedy deletion of Lincoln High School (Evansville)
A tag has been placed on Lincoln High School (Evansville), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per speedy deletion criterion A7.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. [edit] Your edits to Princeton Community High School
Just so you know, I reverted a good portion of the changes you made to this article. Section headings in school colors are simply not appropriate for Wikipedia, the images you put in the infobox were much too big, and I think many of the individuals you listed under "Administration" either really aren't school administration personnel or are more appropriate for an article on the NGSC.
Don't take it personally--I know a lot of it seems like a good idea. For instance, I can understand you thinking it might be a good idea to put section headings in school colors, but uniformity of presentation is a big thing here and that just doesn't fit in with it. Just letting you know for future reference.
Finally, you're clearly interested in the Tri-State Area. I'd like to invite you to participate on the Indiana-Illinois-Kentucky Tri-State Wiki as well. Like Wikipedia, the Tri-State Wiki exists to provide basic information on the Tri-State area, but we also expand to areas outside of what is appropriate for an encyclopedia, such as restaurant reviews, event calendars, etc.
PS I noticed you did the school-color section headings on many other articles, too--I'm going to go ahead and change that back, too. Kurt Weber (Go Colts!) 21:02, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Rhatsa26X's response concerning edits to Princeton Community High School or specifically Evansville or Evansville's MSA and Southwestern Indiana
While the Evansville Area currently only includes counties in Kentucky and Indiana, it IS NOT Called Kentuckiana, this is used to refer to Louisville, NOT Evansville and, yes, a lot of people from the area WOULD take it personally. I have lived in the area for nearly 15 years and I have only heard the words Tri-State (Referring to Illinois' bordering of the western county of the area, Posey and the possibility of White County, IL joining the MSA) or Tri-River (Referring to the Ohio, Wabash and Green Rivers) with Tri-State being the most common describer used to describe the Evansville Area. If by any chance you don't believe me, I would suggest visiting the websites of the area's local media and see for yourself and restore Tri-State reference back and remove the Kentuckiana reference.
I am not trying to be rude, but for best accuracy, references to local areas should be primarily left to people who actually or used to live within them. Doing this would be prudent to insure avoidance of insult to people living there and there are people who do take seemingly benign things like this personally.
As for the local schools, such as Princeton Community High School or Gibson Southern High School (my alma-mater), or for that matter, Evansville Lincoln, a school that has been defunct for nearly 40 years, much of the information is not easily accessible and most local school corporations in the area certainly do not possess the the internet capabilities of the larger school corporations such as the nearby EVSC (Evansville Vanderburgh School Corp.) Most in the area tend to utilize 90's era technology because they are unable to afford more than that. I have tried to do my best in citing resources in the area as best I can, giving the limited and in some cases inadequate sources to the subject that are available, even spending several frustrating hours hunting down sources to the fact. [edit] Southwestern Indiana
I recently tagged this article for tone, references, and general cleanup. You need to provide more detailed, in-line citations in the article; see Wikipedia:Citing sources for more details. The "time zones" section needs major cleanup. The community considers Wikipedia a serious enclyopedia, so you need to change section headers in the "time zones" section. A summary also needs to be added at the begining of the article. Thanks, Southern Illinois SKYWARN (talk) 02:43, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rhatsa26X's Response
Why?! Are you jealous! or are you just inconsiderate! SOUTHERN ILLINOIS SKYWARN, IF YOU CONTINUE to vandalize pages on Indiana Affairs, I am going to propose that you be barred form editing. You and GO COLTS have deleted at least three articles about Gibson County in the last month, this is getting ridiculous. IF YOU ARE NOT FORM GIBSON COUNTY, LEAVE IT ALONE!!
This is your only warning.
The next time you make a personal attack, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Southern Illinois SKYWARN (talk) 22:07, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

I HAVE SAID THIS BEFORE, I TRY MY BEST TO REFERENCE WHAT I PUT ON THIS SITE, IT IS VERY IRRITATING TO BUT SO MUCH EFFORT INTO SOMETHING ONLY TO HAVE IT DELETED TWO WEEKS LATER WITHOUT EXPLANATION. SO GO AHEAD AND BAR ME, BECAUSE THIS IS JUST NOT WORTH IT ANYMORE, EVERYTHING I DO GETS NAILED FOR SOMETHING AND ALL I GET IS FLAK FOR ANYTHING I DO. THIS IS NO LONGER A SITE ANYONE CAN EDIT, AS I AM NO LONGER ALLOWED TO WITHOUT HAVING IT DELETED EVERY TIME I TURN AROUND!

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary. Thank you.
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently copied the contents of a page and pasted it into another with a different name. This is what we call a "cut and paste move", and it is very undesirable because it splits the article's history, which is needed for attribution and is helpful in many other ways. The mechanism we use for renaming an article is to move it to a new name which both preserves the page's history and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. In most cases, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. If there is an article that you cannot move yourself by this process, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves to request the move by another. Also, if there are any other articles that you copied and pasted, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. [edit] References
Remember, if you add content to Wikipedia, you need to specifically cite a reference using <ref>link description</ref>, or, preferably citation templates. If you wish to not add references, then you can not contribute to Wikipedia. Southern Illinois SKYWARN (talk) 15:45, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] RHATSA 26X
I combined WRAY-FM and WRAY (AM) into one article WRAY-FM/AM mainly because they are really one station. Both operate out of the same building and have the same Call Letters and references are listed for both stations from both the station itself and the Indiana Broadcaster's Asscociation.
- Yes, and you should have. However, please provide references and do not perform cut and paste moves. Also, as I have said before, sign your posts using ~~~~ and respond on other user's talk pages, or responses will likely go ignored. It just so happened that I keep your talk page on my watchlist.
