[edit] Date format
This template is not right. Instead of the monthname must appear the month number and the day number must include two digits. See UTC and related ISO standards. --Altermike 06:30, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- This template is used to populate the current date on new WP:RFD subpages. The date format is what is used on RFD and is consistent with the format used at other deletion forums. There is no Wikipedia requirement for the use of the UTC or ISO standard in dates. Indeed, Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates and numbers) specifically recommends it should not to be used for prose. If you want to propose that RFD change to this format, you should bring that up at Wikipedia talk:Redirects for discussion as unless there is consensus there, this template should not change. -- JLaTondre 13:41, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
