Reynolds American

Reynolds American, Inc. (NYSE: RAI) is an American company whose holdings include R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company, Forsyth Tobacco, Lane Limited, Conwood Company (formerly American Snuff Company), and R.J. Reynolds Global Products, Inc.
In 2003, Reynolds American sold about a third of all cigarettes sold in the USA.

In 2004 the US business of British American Tobacco (Brown & Williamson) and RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company were combined and Reynolds American was formed with BAT holding a 42% share [1].
