Rey de Reyes

The Rey de Reyes (English: "King of Kings") is an annual tournament held by Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) comparable to World Wrestling Entertainment’s King of the Ring tournament. For the first six tournaments the format has been 4 way elimination matches with 4 qualifies and a final, but in later tournaments the format has changed a couple of times. The winner is usually either currently one of the top faces or heels of the promotion of a wrestler that AAA is hoping to push to the main event position. Unlike the King of the Ring there is normally no crown and the wrestlers usually do not refer to themselves as "King" after winning the tournament.

The eights Rey de Reyes event did not feature a tournament but a single match to crown the 2004 Rey de Reyes, later on AAA retracted their recognition of the 2004 Rey de Reyes winner. Instead the show featured a regular card with the Rey de Reyes match as the main event.

  • Morgan, Texano and La Fierca were disqualified
  • Abismo Negro and Mini Abismo Negro defeated El Alebrije & Cuije and the Monsther & Chucky
  • This was a "triangle" match.
  • Gronda, El Zorro, Octagón and Heavy Metal were disqualified
  • Electro Shock beat Lady Apache in a Hair Vs Hairmatch.
  • By losing the tag match Electro Shock and Lady Apache were forced to wrestle each other
