[edit] more NPOV

Rewriting from a NPOV. article reads like marketing. Rob C. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 62.189.127.13 (talk) 15:18, 19 February 2007 (UTC).

How does this:

The church was created in the summer of 1983 when around 20 people were baptised by Ishmael and David Thatcher on Rustington beach. 'Youth Churches' were pioneered during the first few years, with a number of congregations meeting in Bognor Regis, Barnham, Chichester, and Portsmouth.

Become this?:

It was formed in 1983 when around 20 members of established Christian churches separated from their existing religious organisations, in order to create a church which more accurately reflected their interpretation of Christianity.

That's not removing POV. That's completely changing the information presented. If one of the church's primary missions was to start young churches, that shouldn't be removed, and adding the phrase "which more accurately reflected their interpretation of Christianity." seems to have come out of nowhere. What is your reference for this? -- TomXP411[Talk] 15:24, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] fair point in some ways

OK, i'm getting to the point of view, it just read like a poor advert - "we have done x and y", implicitly self-congratulating (in the context of churches). Perhaps it would be fairer on me to say I'm making it more accurate and useful. Noone knows who Ishmael or David Thatcher are outside of a small group of people on the south coast of England. And my reference for the addition is that I was there. Rob C
