Myst IV: Revelation Soundtrack is an album containing music from the fourth installment in the popular Myst video game series. The tracks are composed by Jack Wall who also provided the score for Myst III: Exile. The music is performed, once again, by a live orchestra and vocalists. The three main character themes on this soundtrack are for the newly introduced character Yeesha, along with Sirrus and Achenar, two characters from the first Myst game.
The liner notes for each song were written by Jack Wall himself and provide explanations and background information for each song except Lakeside and Achenar's Prelude. The notes for Lakeside read "There are game spoilers in any explanation of this one, so I'll have to refrain."
