"Final Crisis: Revelations" is an upcoming five-issue comic book limited series written by Greg Rucka, with art by Phillip Tan, Jeff De Los Santos , and Jonathan Glapion.

[edit] Outline

When the story of how Final Crisis should be structured was brought up by Grant Morrison, he asked if Geoff Johns and Greg Rucka would write "companion" mini series that would add to the overall impact of the series. Geoff Johns began work on his own series Legion of 3 Worlds and Greg Rucka began work on what would be nicknamed "Street Crisis", a look at how Final Crisis affected the DCU at a street level, but he noted this was not enough content for a full mini series. Dan DiDio recommend that he bring up two of his most notable characters Renee Montoya (who had recently become The Question) and Crispus Allen (who had recently become The Spectre), Greg liked the idea, noting that The Spectre has played a major role in every DC Crisis.

In interviews Rucka has stated that the core of this series will be about how The Spectre and the soul of Crispus Allen gain a mutual understanding of each other, stating how unlike other hosts of the Spectre, Allen is deeply conflicted since his first assignment was the killing of his own son. In solicitations it is noted that Renee Montoya would be making an appearance.

DC Universe #0 had a one page promo showing Dr. Light but had a large caption stating "SHOW NO MERCY".
