Javier Medina, better known as Javy el Babyfaiz discovered his talent for reggaeton music at a young age. He was inspired by Reggaeton pioneers who expressed the realities that they were living through their music. He was inspired by this music because he could relate to the similar realities that he was living in his turmoil stricken neighborhood and it led him to begin challenging local rappers in his neighborhood to rhyming competitions. Rapping in the streets and through out his high school days were the beginning of his promising career. Not only is Javy a rapper, he is a singer, and producer whose talent also shows in his vocals and performances. He began as the lead singer of his local Reggaeton group and performed with them for the early part of his young career. Now as a solo artist, Javy is able to showcase all his talent and show the public that he is the future of the Reggaeton genre. El Babyfaiz can sing to the ladies in a romantic suave way, and have you sing along to his catchy hooks and melody. On the other hand he can make you nod your head to his cleaver, street savvy rhymes and unique beats but always remaining true to himself and his genre. He has participated in productions “Los Nuevo Guerreros , Exit 9’s Finest, y Los Nuevo Guerreros II.” Javy el Babyfaiz has currently released a mix-cd of his accomplishments and is currently working on his debut album entitled, “Flow,Clase, y Estilo”.
