Reshma, SI, is a renowned folk singer of Pakistan, who is popular in India too.

She was born in Bikaner, Rajasthan to a Gypsy family in 1947. Her family moved to Pakistan on the partition of India. She did not have any formal education and does not know how to read or write, however she sings from her heart and has a huge fan base.

Her most famous song is "Lambi Judai", sung for a Bollywood film Hero. Based in Lahore, she is an advocate of good relations between India and Pakistan. She travelled in the first bus from Lahore to Amritsar. She was discovered by the director Subhash Ghai of Hindi Movie Hero when he heard her singing at a function in her village. Although she couldn't speak Hindi properly, the director helped her sing the song by singing in front of her and teaching her the words phonetically.
