Mediation is supposed to be privileged and, although most cases occur on Wikipedia, there are some instances where it would be more advantageous to the parties involved that the mediation take place outside Wikipedia on a more private wiki. So, mediation can take place at one of two locations (vote for only one):

If the mediation were to take place here, any one, registered or anonymous, can view the proceedings of the mediation, although participation in the mediation will generally be limited to just the four editors listed on the request page and (of course) myself. At the conclusion of the mediation, the page will be archived. If necessary, the mediation might be deleted or otherwise blanked to protect the privileged nature of mediation. Ok. We all agree that mediation should take place here. Now what? The article is going to fail FAR. Should we go back to the FA version, per the suggestion of one of the reviewers? Ovadyah 14:47, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
I'm not going to make a judgment about that, especially if the prospect of performing this revert is related to one of the issues in the mediation. -- tariqabjotu 18:51, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

Alternatively, the mediation can take place on the Mediation Committee's private wiki. If we were to hold the mediation there, you would each have an account created temporarily (for the duration of the mediation). This site would only be visible to the four parties listed on the request page and mediators. At the conclusion of the mediation, your accounts will be deactivated and the mediation contents will no longer be visible. Please sign below if you would prefer doing mediation on the private wiki:
