[edit] IP
How come this guy's IP address keeps changing even if it's from the same person? Also, I don't know any computer program that can do this. Can we block his DNS address, which is permanent and always backtraceable? contribsSTYROFOAMâ˜1994TALK 19:19, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Most DNS addresses are the same so if you block one, you could block half the world. I am not a sockpuppet fyi.--96.235.179.193 (talk) 19:39, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
- DNS addresses are the same only for each household with individual internet subscriptions. And IP addresses technically do not go under sockpuppet status, but are considered so most of the time. See Domain name system. contribsSTYROFOAMâ˜1994TALK 21:00, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
No that is absolutely false. I have a program that tracts DNS in a game that I play. many peopel have the same DNS as me--96.235.179.193 (talk) 21:04, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
