I would like to extend my profound thanks to all the editors who participated in my just-concluded RfA, which ended with a final vote of 88/4/1. I am still overwhelmed by the near unanimous support and the many flattering and humbling remarks I received. I did not expect the RfA to be such an emotional event for me – seeing all those supportive messages has given me a new appreciation of the uniqueness of the Wiki experience, and as I noted in my "A9" message, just these kind comments alone, more than justify my personal investment so far in the project. I look forward to continuing my tiny part in helping Wikipedia get ever closer to our common vision of a well written, well sourced, neutrally presented, high quality encyclopedia, a collection of mankind's and womankind's knowledge, freely available to all.
