The above accounts have been used only to add external links to mainly russianfootage.com (discussable useful, but now blacklisted) and tvdata.ru (see the COIBot summaries in Wikipedia:WikiProject Spam/LinkReports/tvdata.ru and Wikipedia:WikiProject Spam/LinkReports/russianfootage.com, note that both sites, and two others, reside on the same server with IP 217.23.142.140; Special:Linksearch/217.23.142.140). While there was some discussion in the beginning, now single use, throw away (?) accounts are created. These accounts most of these seem pretty obvious socks (except maybe for Itryu, Kilkd and Ukosel). Most of the accounts are already indefblocked.
I would like to know if there are still sleeper-accounts available, and or if there are other accounts connected to this spam/COI-case. Also there may be some accounts who are not socks, for which the indefblock may be too harsh. Dirk Beetstra T C 13:36, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
Likely. Itryu is part of it too. Kilkd and Ukosel are stale. I've blocked some sleeper accounts. Voice-of-All 10:05, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
