[edit] Mfv

Code letter: B Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Mantanmoreland

Evidence: [1][2][3][4][5][6]

This request is based on mischief from single purpose accounts at Patrick M. Byrne. By all appearances, these accounts seem related to the usual suspects in the real life naked short selling dispute that has spilled into Wikiworld. I think the Mfv and Bassettcat are adversaries. This edit is odd because it is Mfv's first, yet they reference prior editing that they have done. Jehochman Talk 02:18, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

  • Well, neither one is from Mantanmoreland's or Wordbomb's usual home ranges. Other than that, it's pretty much a fishing expedition, and nothing obvious turns up. Thatcher 11:09, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
    • Is either one using proxies? Some of the usual suspects are smart enough to evade Checkuser, but I was hoping there might still be a clue. Jehochman Talk 11:47, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
      • Not apparent. Thatcher 13:04, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
        • Thanks. That's what I really wanted to know. I did not expect anyone to be so foolish as to use a sock puppet from their usual IP range.Jehochman Talk 13:37, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
