- Supporting evidence: Single purpose account which appeared on 9/11-related article last month, shortly after Dscotese's return to activity. According to Betacommand's tool, the two accounts have a 100% overlap in edits — including a very obscure band's article which Dscotese wrote [1] [2]. Specifically, all of Deminizer's edits have been to support those of Dscotese. For instance, [3] and [4] make the same point. They also support one another in edit wars [5] [6], and both consistently work to advance the same POV on Wikipedia (See edit histories; diffs too numerous). Since the behavioral evidence is strong, but there is not a lot of it, I'm requesting a checkuser to confirm these users are the same. Also, if any other accounts editing in the same area turn up, it would be helpful — since multiple accounts of a single user pushing a single POV distort the discussion unduly. Note: The results are kind of odd, and I'd like to leave this report open for another checkuser to review the findings. My best guess is that these are two separate people who know each other. Thatcher 02:27, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
- If it helps, you could compare the results against these editors — User:ireneshusband, User:Mcintireallen, User:Gindo, User:Apostle12, User:Pokipsy76, User:Bulbous, User:WLRoss, User:Oneismany User:Belinrahs, Wowest.. It's probably overkill, but if you're getting multiple users per account these are the possible suspects. --Haemo (talk) 02:34, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
- No, there is only one user per IP. Thatcher 11:38, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

- I guess I need to clarify this. With respect to Dscotese and Deminizer, the situation is this: Dscotese edited exclusively from a stable IP in location A until early March, when he began editing from location B. Deminizer edits exclusively from a different IP address (but the same ISP) in location B. So one possibility is that Dscotese moved from location A to B. Another possibility is that they are in different locations but Dscotese has decided to stop editing and gave Deminizer his password. I'm sure there are even more possibilities I have not thought of. Hence the results are
Inconclusive at this time. I did not check the second group, because it was not relevant to the results of the first check. Thatcher 12:11, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
