Daniil Maslyuk (talk · contribs) - I'd like to become an administrator and take care of album covers Daniil Maslyuk 16:00, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. You may wish to answer the following optional questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?
- A: Taking care of album covers and images in general (deleting old useless versions, adding fair use rationales, etc.), dealing with vandalism, fixing infoboxes under WikiProject Albums and correcting spelling and stuff like that.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: I've added a lot of fair use rationales and uploaded a lot of album covers with better quality but still under fair use policy. I think these are my best contributions, because album covers are usually lacking fair use rationales, which isn't good.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: Not really. There has been a small conflict with Mel Etitis (see my and Mel Etitis' talk pages), but I guess we've settled it down. If I have to deal with conflicts again in future, I will try to settle down a conflict using official Wikipedia policies.

Support
- Moral support - your willingness to take care of fair use images is a plus. However, I suggest that you withdraw, and become more familiar with both our community and our policies. When you feel as though you have an excellent grasp of both, as well as more experience, I will be more than willing to support in another RFA. GracenotesT § 17:03, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
- Moral support per Gracenotes. Your heart's in the right place but the community needs to see some experience, as well. Cheers, Lanky (YELL) 17:24, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
Oppose
- Oppose - Over 200 edits and 15 days experience is too less in my POV But if you apply in 6 months time and try to get mainspace edits of over 1000 edits.I will support you .--Cometstyles 16:33, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose Low Wikispace edits, low user and article talk edits. Only been here for 2 weeks and only 200 edits. Not enough experiance in my book. Suggest withdraw and try again when you have more experiance. --Malevious Userpage •Talk Page• Contributions 16:45, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose- Too early. Get more experience and I'll be happy to support you. Boricuaeddie Spread the love! 16:46, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose A tad too early, but nice mindset. Come back when you have 1000+ edits, and more experience.Ganfon 17:08, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose. Not enough experience. Keep it up and you should be ready in a little while. --Mschel 17:11, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose You don't have many edits nor have enough experience please try again in 4 months or so.Arnon Chaffin Got a message? 17:16, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose - I don't have "editcountitis", but 14 days and 214 edits is way too low. You don't have enough experience. Also, answer to Q1 is bothering. You don't list any specific, admin tasks, and some tasks you've listed you don't adminship for, (e.g. correcting spelling, or dealing with infoboxes). Come back when you gain some more experience, and everybody will support you. (I had to go through this, too.) Cool Bluetalk to me 18:25, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
- I cannot approve a candidate whose statement and answers to questions do not show enough substance. TML 19:24, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose I can't judge you at this time because you don't have the sufficient experience yet. Try again in a few months. Sr13 19:25, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
