[edit] WIPO say Vergina is Greek

Thanks. I had no idea that according to WIPO Vergina flag is now Greek. At least one can learn something useful occasionally on Wikipedia... Politis 17:24, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

You mean "thank God there are nationalist wikipedians who give reasons to present both sides of the story"?  NikoSilver  (T) @ (C) 21:41, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Symbols and name

Didn't you know that the Vergina Sun is greek? It was discovered in Phillip's tomb in Vergina. Now about the name... If this little country is named Macedonia , then lots of people (like the uneducated americans) would think that Alexander the Great was serbian! Exactly what the skopian goverment thinks! Well , the fact that 1000 years after Alexander the Great conquered Asia some barbarians live in places where His empire was , doesn't mean that they were his people or his descendants... Barbarians!

P.S. I am no nationalist , but a true Greek , who doesnot stand barbarians stealing his ancestors' name! The Greek cultural legacy will stay intact from globalisation , and we will not lose our national consciousness! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aldameldo (talk • contribs) 15:31, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
