[edit] Title

There is a subtlety that may be missed in the title of this work. This is the "Crowning" of Nicholas and Alexandria (i.e., their wedding), not the coronation of the Tsar. In the Eastern Orthodox Church, the wedding is referred to as the "Crowning", because crowns are held over the heads of the bride and the groom--and this applies to everyone, from royalty to the simplest worker. The "Coronation", or more properly, the "Anointing" of a sovereign is a completely different thing. MishaPan (talk) 18:21, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
