This village, not many years back is a model village. It is equipped with Primary School, a Secondary School, Village Library, Panchat Office, couple of temples, Mosque and Church; a balanced village atmosphere. In fact the Secondary School is used to command / attract students from nearly 8 to 9 neighboring villages - Pakalapadu, Gogulapadu, Pisapadu, Kattamuru, Deepaladinnepalem, Parupalli, etc.
The present condition in this village is not that glorious. Politics have taken toll on the Village progress. It is not really a progressing village any more.
