About

Relloyd H. Lopez, RN is the Virtual Integrated Nursing Education Simulation (VINES) Coordinator and a member of the Faculty at the Far Eastern University Institute of Nursing (FEU-IN). He graduated from the FEU-IN Class 2005 and immediately worked with St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) after passing the Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination.

He initially worked as a staff nurse in the Digestive and Liver Unit of SLMC where he was active in participating in unit performance improvement. As a well rounded nurse, he also worked with the Division of Nursing (DON) Department of Clinical Advancement (DCA) in reviewing and preparing policies in preparation for SLMC’s Joint Commission Re-accreditation. He also was a seasoned lecturer/preceptor of the DCA in various nursing lectures for newly-hired and hospital RNs.

Mr. Lopez served as an Assistant Nurse Unit Manager in one of the busiest unit in SLMC; Annex 2 – 1st, a Medical-Surgical Floor. His desire to concentrate on cardiovascular nursing made him transfer in the Coronary Care Unit of SLMC. After rigorous training in the CCU, he decided that he would want to take up formal advanced nursing studies.

He is currently taking up his Master of Arts in Nursing Specialized in Medical-Surgical Nursing at the FEU-IN.
