Use like this to give updating numbers of months from a fixed date:
"Rich_Farmbrough has been a Wikipedian for over {{relyear|2004}} years and an admin for over {{relmonth|2005}}."
to give something like:
Rich Farmbrough has been a Wikipedian for over 4 years and an admin for over 3.
