Rell

Rell was the first male R&B singer signed to Roc-A-Fella Records. He appeared in Jay-Z's movie, "Streets Is Watching." While at Roc-A-Fella, he recorded with artists such as Kanye West, Consequence, Young Gunz and others. He grew up in Bowman, South Carolina. He is a former South Carolina State pre-med student. As the first male R&B solo artist signed to Roc-a-Fella Records, Rell got his first break in 1998, appearing in Jay-Z's rap cult flick Streets Is Watching, and contributing the feel-good club banger Love For Free to the movie's soundtrack. Going on to sing hooks for nearly every Roc-a-Fella MC since, including Jay-Z's It's Obvious and Freeway (rapper)'s Victim Of The Ghetto, and appearing on The Message featuring Mary J. Blige from Dr. Dre's classic Chronic 2001.

He's Currently looking for a new deal , rumors say Carter Music Group will sign him.

Rell was one of three men arrested in a drug sting in Calhoun County, South Carolina on March 29 2007 after Postal Service agents intercepted a package containing 50 pounds of marijuana in Columbia, SC. Agents allowed the package to be delivered to a home in Saint Matthews, SC, where police arrested Rell and two associates. All three men were charged with conspiracy to traffic marijuana

Rell wrote the title track for Usher's forthcoming album Here I Stand. He constantly works with Don Omar, appearing on his compilation album El Pentagono, and Zions The Perfect Melody.
