Reign of the Gargoyles

Reign of the Gargoyles is a 2007 TV movie directed by Ayton Davis and written by Chase Parker.The film is a sequel to Gargoyles:Wings of Darkness The film stars Joe Penny, Wes Ramsey, Sean Mahon, Julia Rose, Billy Lush, John Ashton and Brad Beyer.

The film takes place during World War II. A flight of U.S. B-17 Flying Fortresses are flying over Germany on a bombing run, when they are attacked by a horde of mythical gargoyles.The pilots of all the aircraft panic and the strength of the gargoyles are clearly seen when one latches onto the wing of an aircraft and pull it off with incredible ease,causing the plane's fuel tank to explode. They soon group up with members of the British 6th Airborne and German resistance to find the "Spear of Destiny" and slaughter the leader of the gargoyles.

The Gargoyles are created by the Nazis who use them to destroy enemy bombers, but the gargoyles turn on the nazis in the start of the movie and go on rampage.
