I really do have brochures from around the world for the Legacy
Inventory
Japan=11
1989 Legacy sedan brochure and booklet and 1990 Legacy sedan, 1990 Legacy RS turbo, 1990 Legacy GT, 1990 & 1991 Legacy Ti type S, Legacy Mi extra, both 1989 and 1990 Legacy Touring Wagon. The photography suggests that a luxury vehicle is being purchased, with photos somewhere in Europe. The Japanese must have printed new brochures every six months
England=5
1990 and 1991 Legacy brochure and dealer available accessories to the British, different from the German accessories, including car seats for small children, pamphlet listing Subaru dealerships in the UK, and another pamphlet listing all Subaru models for sale in 1991, listing prices for all models and available interior and exterior color combinations, all UK brochures contained inside brochure folder
2009 Subaru Legacy Boxer Turbodiesel brochure from the United Kingdom
USA=4
1990 and 1991 Legacy sales brochure, 1991 Subaru exterior paint chart, and USA Subaru Car Show booklet introducing the 1990 Legacy with comparisons between the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord and Mazda 626
Germany=3
Legacy brochure for standard model and GX Gala and dealer available accessories, including Subaru branded clothing, folding chairs, solid wood steering wheels and gearshift knobs
Australia=1
The Australian version seems to be a blend of American, European and Japanese, using European exterior lighting, and the dual transfer case on the manual, but with a more luxurious interior approach. The brochure actually calls the vehicle a luxury car.
The Netherlands=1
1990 Subaru Legacy brochure written in Dutch
[edit] Vehicles I've owned
1973 JDM Toyota Crown Super Saloon 1975 JDM Honda Civic 1978 JDM Nissan Skyline GT-EL sedan 1988 Pontiac Sunbird (POS) 1990 Ford Mustang (POS) 1977 Ford Maverick (better than the Pontiac or Mustang, but still a POS) 1972 VW Superbeetle (Killed by drunk illegals while I was stopped in a school crossing zone, they rear-ended me instead of the children crossing in front of me) 1996 Toyota Tercel DX (really cheap to run)
I am critical of ALL Detroit vehicles because they have had 100 years to get it right. No excuses.
