There is no proof that VelJohnson is gay; he has never himself publically stated so, so therefore it's all conjecture. Such information should therefore not be in the article --b. Touch 06:16, 19 Mar 2005 (UTC)

He is listed on the List of gay, lesbian or bisexual people. Truthfully, the internet search evidence is pretty scant, but if someone could find a reputable source, add it in.--Wasabe3543 03:02, 22 September 2005 (UTC)

He'll only stay on the list if there's a mention in this article. -Willmcw 22:31, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Trivia

In my opinion the trivia section should stay intact. Wigren 20:33, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

I've seen references to this "SMF" wrestling series in a couple different articles. Is a person or fictional character's presence in some lame Youtube series really worth mentioning on these pages? SMF doesn't really seem to be a notable part of pop culture and its presense in these articles seems (to me, anyhow) as nothing more than publicity for an otherwise unremarkable series. Am I way off-base here?

[edit] Reginald and the VelJohnsons

What is this garbage about "Reginald and the VelJohnsons"? Is that a REAL band? I have a very hard time believing that this band exists, and if it does, that it's NOT named for Reginald. Chalkieperfect 03:35, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

Same here. If the band claims they aren't named after him, they must be lying. --70.143.40.56 19:22, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Birthplace

The Yahoo TV biography and the IMDB bio conflict on his place of birth; one says North Carolina, one says Queens, New York. He appears to have attended high school in Queens (with George Tenet and Ron Jeremy), see Queens Tribune QConfidential Studerby 23:26, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
